EQUINOX MYSTERY CONCLUDES!
At last! Mitzi and Raoul star in the exciting conclusion to our 8 month EQuinox mystery and the final mystery lesson! Attention Mitzi fans: Keep watch for Mitzi's return, with a brand new mystery, sometime this year when you least expect it!

Show us your quilts! Have you made one of our Mystery quilts? We want to see your quilt or top. Email us a photo and we'll post it in our mystery gallery. See some of the Skylights mystery quilts.

PREVIOUS MYSTERY QUILT STORY AND LESSONS
Mitzi's previous EQ "Mystery of the Missing Quilt," is still up. If you are just joining us, start here with Skylights Episode 1 and Skylights Lesson 1.

Kaleidoscope CollectionKALEIDOSCOPE COLLECTOR'S CLUB
Thanks for telling us you're learning from and loving Andrea's new club! Wait 'til you see Month 3 of her 12-month activity club for owners of the Kaleidoscope Collection CD for EQ5/EQ6.

In her "Foundation Fundamentals" (Part 1) lesson --- Andrea shows what makes a block foundation-pieceable, and you'll practice drawing your own Kaleidoscope wedges.

Don't forget to vote for which lesson comes next after Fundamentals Part 2.

Maggie BallINTERVIEW WITH AUTHOR MAGGIE BALL
How do quilt book authors get started? We ask long-time EQ designer Maggie Ball about her design career, the Mongolian quilting coop she helped start, and how EQ6 helped with quilts for her newest book, Bargello Quilts with a Twist from Krause. Read the interview with Maggie.

AMY BUTLER ON MSNBC
We're currently working with Amy Butler on a new software for beginning quilters: Amy Butler Quilts. Watch for it in late Spring, full of quilt, bag, and pillow projects to print and sew, or recolor, resize and redesign a bit following inspirational ideas from Amy.

Last fall, Jenny, Andrea and Penny visited Amy and David Butler at their studio, about 2 hours away from us, in Granville, Ohio. We thought you might like to visit Amy yourself via this interview that MSNBC did with the Butlers. You'll be hearing more about our new project with Amy later in the Spring.

ASK EQ THE MOUSE!
Long-time mascot, EQ the Mouse, invites you to submit EQ questions for his column "Ask EQ." Email questions to Tech Support. Put "Ask EQ" in the subject line. He'll answer your question, and perhaps you'll make his monthly Q & A column. Read it here.

DOWNLOAD MORE FREE FABRIC
This month's download is "Kaffe-Inspired". Choose either to download a Library file or a Project file. Be sure to follow the easy steps provided. Then vote for next month's fabric.

NEW MODA FABS AVAILABLE TO DOWNLOAD
Moda has new fabrics available to download as individual jpeg files, ready for EQ6. Visit Moda's site, click any brown dot in front of a fabric name, download to your computer (remember where it goes), then go to LIBRARIES > Fabric Library > Import > From Image Files and import the fabric. Add the fabric to your Sketchbook and use it, or save the fabric in My Library (see pages 143 and 144 in the EQ6 User Manual) to use in future projects. If you need complete steps, EQ the Mouse addresses them in one of his Ask EQ columns.

ClubEQ REMINDER
ClubEQ is a free monthly challenge organized by EQ-author, Barb Vlack. To participate, send in a project (EQ5 or EQ6) with 1-2 quilts to penny@electricquilt.com that follow the challenge theme and ClubEQ rules. Imagine getting 50 to 100 quilts for just submitting one.

ClubEQ CHALLENGE

* and tells you one of her favorite PatchDraw tips.

Let us know if you post EQ stuff on *your* blog so we can link. Also, send us info about what EQ stuff you're up to. We love to brag about you! Send an email to penny@electricquilt.com and tell us your EQ news.
