Some of the things I have learned: real skills with the bezier tool; automatic use of magnification and saving to know exactly where the nodes are BEFORE going on to more complicated things; how to use the grid tool!; control+A instead of having to go to Edit; tracing an imported BMP accurately... a real victory for me; drawing a smiley face... great!!!; selecting a section of a block for copy/paste or export snapshot.
