Who would ever think -- a tasty breakfast treat disguised as a flower!

Would be better if there were a plate of those Hocus Pocus Crispies sitting on top of this tablerunner!
The recipe I submitted has been a favorite family treat for years. If there any leftovers, they are also good cold.

The idea behind this came to me as I was thinking about a friend of mine who's son is autistic. Textures are great therapy for autistic children. I was looking at some of my fabric scraps, I thought how great it would be for a child to get a cookie quilt made from textured fabrics.

I think this would work great as a tonal or texture scrappy quilt

One of my favorite, easy deserts is to purchase angel food cakes from the bakery at the grocery store and a bottle of Hershey's syrup. Slice the cake, drizzle with chocolate and enjoy!

Blueberry picking in Northern Ontario has become an annual event for my husband and I. How rewarding it is to pick our own blueberries and create different recipes. Blueberry Gallete is one of my favourite recipes because it uses up so many blueberries. Fortunately for us, we have not come across any bears!
In this quilt, I've used blocks found in the EQ6 library and tweeked some until they worked for me.

I designed this quilt from the angle of teaching kids that our food usually starts with us feeding/tending something else - an animal or a plant. We can thank the chicken and the cow for helping us make quiche!

I love ice cream and this is my preferred.

Here in New Mexico the most-asked question in a restaurant is "red or green?" So, my quilt represents the two colors of chili referred to in that question. My husband and I both like enchiladas, he favors green chili and I like red on our cheese enchiladas. My recipe is how I make a quick cheese enchilada cassarole.

I recently found this recipe in the local newspaper . (Carroll County Times) My Father -In-Law requested a homemade coffee cake for Father's Day so I ran out to the farm stand and picked up a quart of fresh red ripe strawberries. I could hardly wait to cut a piece when it came out of the oven. the kitchen smelled heavenly. I was not disappointed. This is an extremely easy recipe with awesome taste!!!! Now, if I can only keep from eating the one I'm going to make for my Father-In-Law....

A really fun, easy and delicious congealed salad. You don't tell people what's in it until they've tasted it. Recipe can be doubled or tripled or more.

Original design for the Recipe challenge.
The yellows represent the baked pineapple custard, while the dark brown represents the cinnamon topping. This is one of our favorite Thanksgiving dishes. Not only is it easy, but very fragrant while it is baking and our guest love it. what could be better!

This is best viewed with Outline Blocks and Outline patches turned off.

Enjoy!!
